About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Aide to join our team at Rehabilitation Center of Independence West Campus. As a key member of our Therapy Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in designing, implementing, and delivering customized occupational therapy programs to help residents perform daily tasks independently.
  • Work closely with the Therapy Department to ensure seamless delivery of care and services to our residents.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to our residents.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment that promotes resident-centered care.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
  • Unencumbered State of Iowa COTA certificate.
  • One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant is preferred, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
