The Commercial Roofing Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire roofing process, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. This role requires excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as strong technical knowledge of roofing materials and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate commercial roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring timeliness and quality of work
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications are met
  • Oversee and manage a team of roofers, superintendents, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any issues
  • Utilize software, such as Bluebeam, to manage and track project progress
  • Led cross-functional teams to complete commercial roofing projects on time and within specifications
  • Conduct cost analysis and estimate project expenses
  • Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Liaise between the company, customers, and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and industry regulations
  • Identify cost improvement opportunities and coordinate with project teams
  • Participate in post-project financial analysis and performance tracking
  • Represent the client to coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years in commercial project management/estimating
  • Expert knowledge of commercial roofing systems used in South Florida
  • Proficiency in cost estimation analysis
  • Field-based project execution experience
  • Progressive Field-based leadership roles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Organized, detailed, and thorough in planning and execution
  • Possesses a high set of moral and ethical standards in business dealings
  • Strong business, presentation, and construction math skills
  • Ability to competently handle stressful situations, choose the successful path forward when confronted with numerous options, and able to elevate issues as necessary
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter with excellent driving skills
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and construction-related packages
