Position Overview:
Join a dedicated team as a Cardiac Anesthesia Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures, including Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Orthopedic, Pediatric, and Obstetric cases.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
  • Participate in a structured call rotation, ensuring coverage for cardiac surgeries and general anesthesia cases as needed.
  • Contribute to the growth of a progressive cardiac surgery program.

Work Environment:
Our facility is equipped with eight operating rooms and utilizes a comprehensive electronic medical record system, transitioning from Cerner to EPIC.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive compensation package totaling $575,000, which includes:
  • A sign-on bonus of $50,000 with a three-year commitment.
  • Up to $100,000 in education loan repayment.
  • A moving allowance of up to $10,000.
  • Comprehensive health insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage.
  • Professional liability insurance and a generous vacation policy, including time for continuing medical education.
  • Profit-sharing opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • TEE Certification is required.
  • A Cardiac Fellowship is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate possesses extensive experience and TEE certification.
  • Must hold a valid Iowa CSR.
