Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and patient education, to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal medication use.
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and research to provide evidence-based pharmacy services.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of Florida.
- Experience in emergency medicine or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
