As a Physical Therapist - Acute Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing physical therapy treatment to patients with physical dysfunctions, educating patients, family, and staff on the role of physical therapy, and communicating with physicians and ancillary staff regarding patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy treatment to patients with physical dysfunctions, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to promote optimal patient outcomes.

• Educates patients, family, and staff on the role of physical therapy, promoting patient understanding and adherence to treatment plans.

• Communicates effectively with physicians and ancillary staff regarding patient care, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration.

• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans, incorporating patient goals and objectives into the rehabilitation process.

• Conducts thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop targeted interventions.

• Maintains accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-3 years of physical therapy experience, preferably in an acute care setting.

• Physical Therapist licensed by the state of New Jersey; CPR certified.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing patient needs and priorities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and outcomes.

Working Conditions

• Part-time position, 48 hours bi-weekly, with a flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs and treatment plans.

• Work schedule: Tues - Sat
