Job Title: RF/Antenna Test Specialist

At Diverse Lynx LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled RF/Antenna Test Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for assessing platform-level performance across cellular technologies, focusing on EMI and RF aspects, particularly antenna sensitivity and Coex losses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement in-house test systems and execute validation & characterization test plans.
  • Perform failure analysis to understand low-margin or failing behaviors, utilizing experimental SW/FW and mock-up hardware.
  • Collaborate with test equipment vendors, technology suppliers, and cross-functional staff to optimize RF parametric performance.
  • Track validation status, analyze results, communicate issues & insights from data.
  • Bring-up device-under-test and setups for validation preparedness.
Requirements:
  • Practical knowledge of at least one Cellular Wireless technology, including 3G, 4G, and 5G.
  • Practical knowledge of cellular industry standards, including 3GPP, 3GPP2, and Carrier specifications.
  • Experience and deep understanding of System Level RF Parametric its sources in RF component characteristics and behavior.
  • Hands-on experience with bench-level wireless testing, debug at the module, reference board, or system level.
  • Understanding of Antenna characteristics impact to radiated testing.
  • Familiarity with radiated test setups, radiated chamber calibration, and use.
  • Experience using RF lab test equipment.
  • Ability to travel domestically (between Cupertino and San Diego).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • BS with 10+ years of relevant experience required.
