- Regulatory Requirements: Stay up-to-date on changing regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve the quality of our pharmacy services, including patient satisfaction and medication error rates.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our patients and customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Personnel Management: Lead and develop a team of pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
- Inventory Management: Manage our pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stocking medications, supplies, and equipment.
- Financial Profitability: Manage our pharmacy's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks to our pharmacy's assets and reputation.
- Workflow Management: Develop and implement efficient workflows to ensure the smooth operation of our pharmacy.
- Active Pharmacy License: Must have an active pharmacy license in the state in which you are employed.
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List: Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification: Must have immunization certification through an accredited organization.
- Pharmacist in Charge: Must be listed on the pharmacy state license as the 'pharmacist in charge'.
- PMP Registration: Must submit required information/documents to your state PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in states with active PMP for pharmacist use).
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree: A degree in pharmacy or a related field is preferred.
