Job Overview

Parks of Gainesville is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Sales Associate to join our award-winning sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling automobiles by understanding and demonstrating their characteristics, capabilities, and features, as well as developing and qualifying buyers and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and guide customers as they arrive on the lot to initiate the sales process.
  • Assist customers in finding a vehicle that meets their needs by utilizing current inventory information.
  • Enhance the sales process by demonstrating the vehicles' features on the lot.
  • Assist customers in completing their sales applications.
  • Collaborate with management to increase sales by inspecting the lot's vehicles daily and reporting any issues to management.
  • Assist with sourcing, auctions, and trade for our used vehicle inventory.
  • Ensure the lot is merchandised correctly to maximize sales.
  • Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals.
  • Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
Requirements
  • Previous automotive sales experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Willingness to undergo a drug screen prior to employment.
  • High energy levels throughout the sales workday.
  • Outgoing and friendly demeanor, especially when handling objections.
  • Excellent customer service skills and sales track record.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Able to overcome customer objections during the sales process.
  • Proficient in basic business math, including percentages.
  • Able to learn and utilize Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales programs.
  • Persistent, competitive, and strong work ethic.
  • Focused on meeting the customer's needs to enhance dealership and personal sales.
