**Job Summary**

The Facilities Director will play a key role in helping leadership plan, administer, and direct all activities related to operations and maintenance, ensuring compliance with established standards. This individual will establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach to facilities management services. The successful candidate will support the development and growth of hourly associates, focus on meeting and exceeding operating goals, client objectives, and customer needs, and deliver services as contracted by Aramark.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Manage and develop hourly associates to achieve high performance and optimal staffing.

• Assist with managing labor costs, supply costs, and inventories to ensure efficient operations.

• Maintain and utilize capital equipment efficiently to minimize waste and maximize productivity.

• Ensure compliance with all contract obligations, including Aramark Facilities Services and regulatory agency standards.

• Support the effective implementation of the comprehensive Safety Plan and drive full compliance of all safety rules, guidelines, and protocols.

• Conduct operational audits to ensure high levels of execution and compliance.

• Drive operational efficiencies, labor/scheduling productivity, and a positive work environment.

• May be responsible for the training, development, and performance management of hourly associates.

• Establish and maintain effective communications and business relationships.

**Requirements**

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities, Business Management, or Engineering is highly preferred.

• 5+ years of direct facilities management operations experience in soft and hard services delivery.

• Accreditation or direct experience in areas of janitorial, IFM, project management, energy and utility management, mechanical and electrical systems, health and safety regulations, quality control, and managing third-party contracts is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a diverse team.

• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to understand budgets and analyze and interpret financial data.

• Ability to select, develop, lead, and retain teams.

• Effective planning, organizing, and time management skills.
