Job Title: Janitor

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain all areas of the community, including restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins, and replace liners as needed.
  • Maintain all floor surfaces, including wet and dry mopping.
  • Assist with setup and teardown of events and activities.
  • Perform spot cleaning of interior and exterior glass surfaces, carpets, and furniture.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures throughout the facility.
  • Monitor and replenish dispensers as needed.
  • Follow proper handling and mixture of cleaning chemicals.
  • Monitor inventory control.
  • Communicate with staff and residents in a professional manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience in a Housekeeping/Janitorial role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to be on feet for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work on ladders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Dedicated and detail-oriented individual.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to make an impact and contribute to the success of the community.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
