Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Radiologic Technologist is tasked with executing a variety of imaging procedures as prescribed by the physician. The role involves managing daily activities to ensure the provision of quality patient care in a diagnostic and therapeutic setting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating the necessary knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care for the patient populations served in the department.
  • Understanding the principles of growth and development across the lifespan and possessing the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's needs relative to their age-specific requirements.
  • Evaluating patients' and families' ability to learn and integrating education throughout the imaging procedure.
  • Delivering compassionate, holistic care while upholding the rights and dignity of all patients.

Required qualifications include:

  • Graduation from an accredited 24-month Radiological Technology Program.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • ARRT registered; CT Certification or to be obtained within 6 months.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of CT experience.
