Radiologic Imaging Specialist Role

This position requires the execution of various radiographic techniques to capture diagnostic images. The imaging tasks encompass long bone and body scans, in addition to a variety of examinations for soft tissue imaging utilizing radiographic contrast. The technologist will collaborate with the Radiologist during image-guided interventions, adhering to established protocols while modifying parameters to accommodate patient conditions and reduce radiation exposure. Documenting pertinent patient history related to the procedure and ensuring proper exam room setup for invasive tasks are critical responsibilities. Effective communication with colleagues and physician offices is vital for seamless departmental operations. Engagement in accreditation processes, quality improvement initiatives, and other assigned responsibilities is also anticipated.

Essential Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Training Program from a JCERT approved institution or currently in the final clinical rotation
  • Current ARRT Certification and State Radiologic Technologists License or Registry eligible with State of Indiana Student Technologist license
  • CPR certification
