Overview


K2 Staffing, LLC is representing a prominent commercial general contracting firm known for its rapid expansion and promising career prospects.

We are currently in search of a Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager to support ongoing and upcoming projects.

As a responsible Project Coordinator, you will oversee all engineering and technical aspects involved in the projects.

Your role will encompass scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing all technical activities to ensure project precision and quality from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
  • Engage daily with clients to understand their needs and represent them effectively in the field.
  • Conduct overall quality control of the project (budget, schedule, plans, team performance) and provide regular updates on project status.
  • Delegate responsibilities and mentor the project team.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other participants to offer assistance and technical support.
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate necessary corrective actions.
Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Coordinator.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
  • Strong knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
  • Ability to manage projects across multiple disciplines.
  • Project management and supervisory skills.
  • Strong decision-making and leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with BIM or Revit and LEED Accreditation is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while fostering teamwork and a positive attitude.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience in construction for 2-4 years.
