Job Overview

Food Lion is a leading grocery retailer in the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic states, offering an easy, fresh, and affordable shopping experience to its customers. We are currently seeking a Customer Service Lead to join our team at our Huntersville, NC location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Smile and provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
  • Greet each customer and use their name whenever possible.
  • Ensure store office functions are completed accurately and on time using accounting packets; communicate all cash variances to the Assistant Customer Service Manager.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure is based on national averages for similar positions in the retail industry.
