About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bankruptcy Attorney to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for representing clients in all stages of bankruptcy proceedings, drafting and reviewing bankruptcy petitions and related documents, and negotiating financial arrangements and settlements.

Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, including court hearings and meetings with trustees and creditors.
  • Draft, review, and file bankruptcy petitions and related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Negotiate and structure financial arrangements and settlements, taking into account the client's best interests and the legal implications.
  • Advise clients on the legal aspects of bankruptcy, including the potential advantages and disadvantages, and provide guidance on the best course of action.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to develop effective case strategies and ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of bankruptcy laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on changes and developments in the field.
  • Collaborate with legal staff to ensure effective case management and provide exceptional client service.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Arizona State Bar.
  • 4-8 years of experience in bankruptcy law, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Exceptional knowledge of federal and state bankruptcy laws and procedures.
  • Proven ability to handle a high caseload and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.
