VNA Health Group is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Home Health team in Manasquan, New Jersey.
Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to women and their families in Ocean County. As a Registered Nurse with VNA Health Group, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Assess and evaluate the needs of women and their families, providing comprehensive nursing services to support their health and well-being.
- Carry a caseload of up to 25 clients, completing home visitations in accordance with the NFP model elements and NFP Visit-to-Visit guidelines.
- Provide counseling and instruction to assist women and their families in achieving targeted goals, promoting healthy lifestyles and behaviors.
- Develop and maintain community relationships to support client referrals, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Precept and mentor new hires, as well as make visits with student nurses as needed, promoting professional growth and development.
- Adhere to agency infection control and safety policies, as well as the organization's policy regarding absenteeism and appearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- 2-3 years of work-related experience.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Bilingual - Spanish speaking a plus.
