Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly and professionally to Parts inquiries, ensuring a friendly interaction with all customers.
  • Interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to identify required items for movement, gathering, or distribution.
  • Facilitate the transfer of materials from receiving or storage areas to designated shipping or other areas.
  • Organize and categorize materials, parts, or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to product numbers or codes.
  • Process requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or stock items, distributing them to the appropriate areas.
  • Assemble customer orders from inventory and arrange them on pallets or shelves, or relocate them to holding or shipping areas.
  • Monitor parts ordered, back ordered, and special orders to ensure timely customer notifications and deliveries.
  • Efficiently manage returns and ensure prompt credit issuance.
  • Label materials with identifying information using appropriate methods.
  • Document quantities of materials received or distributed using the designated computer systems.
  • Assist with inventory management.
  • Weigh and count items for distribution within the department to meet company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Request supplies from other departments and notify management of low stock levels.
  • Prepare parcels for mailing.
  • Adhere to all regulatory safety standards.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • CDK parts experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence.
  • Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
Certifications:

All Parts Counter Personnel must achieve certifications in:
  • DOT Hazardous Materials
  • Forklift Safety Certification
