Job Summary

Lewis-Clark State College is seeking a part-time Custodian to join our facilities team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our campus facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform heavy-duty cleaning in various areas, including classrooms, dormitories, and lavatories. Clean, sanitize, and polish fixtures, dust, wash, and mop floors, and remove waste and debris.
  • Equipment Operation and Security: Operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure the security of facilities.
  • Miscellaneous: Assist with setting up events, moving furniture, and performing other tasks to ensure facilities operate smoothly.
Requirements
  • Willingness to work part-time hours between 5:00 pm - 1:00 am, Sunday - Thursday.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and moving heavy items.
  • Experience in cleaning and maintenance, preferably in a commercial or educational setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating custodial maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
