Utility Project Coordinator

The Site Utility Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful operation of utility projects and maintenance contracts at Adams Contracting LLC. This individual is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing employee performance, and evaluating schedules and cost control measures to ensure project success.
A successful Site Utility Manager will have a proven track record in budget management, cost tracking, and invoicing. They will also possess strong leadership and team-building abilities, as well as excellent organizational and multitasking skills. In addition, they will have a strong understanding of underground utility construction and repair, with experience in managing teams in the field and overseeing installation, maintenance, and repair of underground utilities.
The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships with local stakeholders and industry leaders, pursue new business opportunities to grow market share, and serve as a primary point of contact for key clients. They will also be able to resolve client concerns promptly and maintain strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations & Contract Management:
- Coordinate daily operations of utility projects and maintenance contracts.
- Evaluate schedules and cost control measures to ensure project success.
- Manage employee performance and productivity to meet contractual goals.
2. Expansion & Market Development:
- Pursue new business opportunities to grow market share.
- Develop strategies to increase revenue and expand market presence.
3. Underground Utility Construction & Repairs:
- Provide technical guidance on underground utility construction and repair.
- Manage teams in the field and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of underground utilities.
4. Employee Management:
- Hire, train, supervise, and terminate employees as necessary.
- Maintain a work environment that promotes safety and professionalism.
5. Budget & Cost Management:
- Manage project budgets to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Monitor project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment usage.
6. Client & Stakeholder Relations:
- Serve as primary point of contact for key clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve client satisfaction and retention.
7. Compliance & Safety Management:
- Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and best practices.
- Implement safety protocols and monitor worksite safety.
