Staff Engineer Systems Architect – Global System

Job Summary:
Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer Systems Architect – Global System to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing large, complex software systems, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop system engineering artifacts, such as specifications, interface control documents, use cases, and system architecture descriptions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop large, complex software systems.
- Collaborate with other systems, software, and specialty engineers to ensure the successful delivery of our products.
- Communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
- Write and implement engineering plans within a project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 14 years of experience, or a Master's Degree and 12 years of experience, or 9 years of experience with a PhD.
- Proven track record of successfully applying system engineering principles to develop product solutions.
- Experience developing system engineering artifacts, such as specifications, interface control documents, use cases, and system architecture descriptions.
- Experience working within an Agile development environment.
- Domain experience with both Space and Missile Defense.
