Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Police Officer Trainee. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience in law enforcement, while also earning a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend and complete a 16-week Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program
  • Develop knowledge and skills in areas such as criminal law, juvenile justice, civil law, traffic law, and emergency response
  • Participate in physical training and fitness activities to prepare for the demands of law enforcement
  • Develop strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues, superiors, and the public
  • Learn and apply ethical standards and professional conduct expected of law enforcement officers
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history
  • Must be 20 years of age
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must not have been convicted of any felony or certain misdemeanors
