About the Role

Eaton's IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and products for aerospace applications.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing mechanical systems and products for aerospace applications
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements
  • Conducting testing and validation of mechanical systems and products
  • Developing and maintaining design documentation and standards
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in designing and developing mechanical systems and products for aerospace applications.

They will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and developing mechanical systems and products for aerospace applications
  • Strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in designing and developing mechanical systems and products for aerospace applications
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

A Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution, or a Design for Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification, would be an advantage.
