Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture blood collection according to laboratory policies and procedures.
- Optimize patient care by providing timely and accurate collection of blood specimens.
- Maintain patient safety by accurately identifying patients and associating the collected sample with the patient.
- Follow all proper organizational Infection Control procedures and isolation protocols.
- Use technology to organize and facilitate efficient patient care.
- Work within multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Phlebotomist (preferred).
- Experience in a healthcare setting (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
