About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall operations of our dining venues, including meal service, staff supervision, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the dining experience for our residents, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Lead and train a team of wait staff, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service and adhere to our quality standards.
  • Collaborate with our Director of Culinary Services and Executive Director to ensure seamless communication and coordination between departments.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of resident attendance, meal service, and staff performance.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required, with two (2) years of experience in front-of-house supervision.
  • College or culinary institute degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able to carry a tray with at least six (6) meals and/or beverages at any given time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a senior living or hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality service.
