Job Title: Virtualization Administrator

Description:

Infiltrator Systems is seeking a skilled Virtualization Administrator to join our IT team. As a Virtualization Administrator, you will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of our IT virtual environment. This includes creating, deploying, and maintaining network, server, and storage infrastructure that relies on VMware products.

Key Responsibilities:

* Implement infrastructure by building and installing computer infrastructure, including virtual storage, hardware, servers, and virtual machines, using a VMware vSphere environment.
* Perform maintenance by monitoring client systems daily and pinpointing problem areas, and proactively designing and installing upgrades, releases, and application patches.
* Provide technical support to clients by participating in an on-call schedule with the rest of the IT staff, responding promptly to issues reported by clients, and conducting root cause analysis and testing scenarios for thorough resolution.
* Recommend solutions by gathering system data, researching possible solutions, developing and presenting design ideas, and thoughtfully evaluating suggestions from others.

Requirements:

* Hands-on experience with VMware or Nutanix virtualization platforms.
* Prior experience in performing at least one server migration between data centers, ideally involving a transition from VMware to Azure Cloud.
* Proven track record of managing the Office 365 suite.
* Experience overseeing Azure environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in working with networking devices such as routers and firewalls.
* Scripting and automation proficiency, particularly in languages like PowerShell, Python, or other similar automation tools.
* Certifications in Azure, such as 'Azure Administrator' or 'Azure Solutions Architect'.
* VMware-related certifications.
* Experience in providing desktop support to end users.
