Your Role:
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will:
- Manage Internal Medicine patient referrals and oversee their care throughout the hospital.
- Act as a consultant for surgical and specialty departments, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Provide 24/7 on-call coverage, addressing urgent and routine requests promptly.
- Perform necessary medical procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and participate in relevant medical staff meetings.
- Maintain strong relationships with colleagues and contribute to enhancing patient satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all medical records and hospital policies.
- Work collaboratively with third-party payors to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A Doctor of Medicine degree or equivalent.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a board-certified Adult Hospitalist Physician.
- A current, unrestricted medical license in the state of Oregon.
- Current DEA certification.
