Your Role:

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will:

  1. Manage Internal Medicine patient referrals and oversee their care throughout the hospital.
  2. Act as a consultant for surgical and specialty departments, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  3. Provide 24/7 on-call coverage, addressing urgent and routine requests promptly.
  4. Perform necessary medical procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  5. Engage in quality improvement initiatives and participate in relevant medical staff meetings.
  6. Maintain strong relationships with colleagues and contribute to enhancing patient satisfaction.
  7. Ensure compliance with all medical records and hospital policies.
  8. Work collaboratively with third-party payors to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A Doctor of Medicine degree or equivalent.
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a board-certified Adult Hospitalist Physician.
  • A current, unrestricted medical license in the state of Oregon.
  • Current DEA certification.
