Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at South Lake Hospital in Clermont, Florida.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. This includes assessing patient needs, developing individualized plans of care, and evaluating patient progress towards expected outcomes.

In this role, you will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to plan and manage patient care, communicate effectively with medical staff, and prioritize tasks according to Evidence-Based Practice Standards of Care.

Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license, BLS/Healthcare Provider certification, and ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC certifications (where applicable).
  • Experience: None required.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess patient needs and develop/revises individualized plans of care based on patient needs and responses.
  2. Evaluate patient progress towards attaining expected outcomes.
  3. Respect diversity by building respectful relationships with all team members and customers.
  4. Function as a patient and family advocate.
  5. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served.
