Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The Laurels of Milford.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing nursing care services to our guests in a long-term care setting. This includes assessing health status, developing plans of care, and implementing safe and accurate medication-related interventions.
Responsibilities
- Nursing Care Coordination: Supervise the care/services provided by LPNs, CNAs/STNAs, and other team members who care for guests.
- Medication Management: Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests.
- Health Assessment: Assess the health of guests and notify the physician of changes in status; promptly implement new orders.
Requirements
- Education: 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred, but not required. Strong new Nursing graduates also considered.
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
- Certification: CPR certification.
