Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Barista to join our team at Family Fare. As a key member of our coffee shop team, you will be responsible for directing and supervising the activities of all Coffee Shop associates to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales and profit goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory control to ensure freshness and quality of products.
  • Verify receivables and store products in appropriate areas.
  • Brew, mix, and blend beverages according to set standards.
  • Train others to perform department activities and functions.
  • Supervise and manage the selection, scheduling, and performance of others.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of all products carried in the department.
  • Prepare food items according to procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Proficient computer skills, including email and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
  • Accounting and bookkeeping skills.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financials.
  • Develop and manage budgets.
  • Delegate, direct, and implement tasks.
  • Suggestive selling and knowledge of products.
  • Detail-oriented.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role include lifting and moving up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The associate must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and may bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
