Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at TridentCare. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in nursing homes and other healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a company vehicle to client facilities, following directions from the dispatcher
  • Unload phlebotomy supplies and collect blood samples from patients, accurately identifying each patient before collecting the sample
  • Process and deliver the collected specimens to the laboratory for testing
  • Communicate regularly with the dispatcher to report your status and location
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Universal Precautions to prevent the spread of blood-borne pathogens
Requirements
  • Current, valid State phlebotomy license (if applicable)
  • Current, valid State Driver's license; car insurance; good driving record; and a vehicle in good working condition
  • Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture using both vacutainer and syringe techniques
  • Knowledge of laboratory operations and ability to maintain sterile, sanitary conditions
