Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Greenville Treatment Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Medication Administration: Administer medications to patients as prescribed by medical orders, ensuring accurate dosages and monitoring patient responses.
- Medication Management: Maintain accurate records of medication inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Crisis Intervention: Collaborate with the Medical Director to respond to crisis situations, providing emotional support and stabilizing patients as needed.
- Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' demeanor and vital signs during medication administration, identifying potential issues and reporting concerns to the Medical Director.
- Incident Reporting: Accurately document and report any critical incidents or adverse reactions to the Medical Director, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Urine Drug Screens: Conduct urine drug screens as needed, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to established protocols.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to state and federal guidelines governing Opioid Treatment Programs, maintaining accurate records and participating in ongoing education and training.
- Education: Current Registered Nursing License or Licensed Practical Nursing License from an accredited school.
- Certifications: Valid NC nursing license, BLS Certification (preferred), and RN or LPN licensure.
- Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a treatment team, maintaining high professional ethics and confidentiality.
Greenville Treatment Center is an outpatient medicated assisted treatment program offering substance abuse treatment to individuals with a substance use disorder of opiates. Our treatment centers provide a caring and therapeutic environment, staffed by certified substance abuse counselors, licensed nurses, and a physician.
