The April Parker Foundation is committed to empowering historically underserved communities in Orange and Los Angeles Counties through culturally relevant programs and services.

We're seeking an Operations Manager to oversee our day-to-day operations, ensuring our programs run efficiently and effectively.

This is a full-time role suited for someone with a strong background in nonprofit operations, team leadership, and organizational management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement processes that improve overall efficiency and streamline operations across the organization.
  • Oversee resource allocation and management to support program delivery and organizational needs.
  • Provide strategic oversight for marketing and IT functions, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
  • Collaborate with program managers to support their operational needs and ensure they have the necessary tools and resources.
  • Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and external partners to ensure quality service and cost-effectiveness.
  • Assist the finance team with budgeting and expense management, ensuring operational costs stay within budget.
  • Identify areas for improvement within our operational framework and suggest actionable steps to enhance our processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an operations management role, preferably within a nonprofit or community-focused organization.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in operational software, such as project management tools and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Financial literacy and experience with budgeting or cost management.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 annually
