Job Summary and Qualifications
The Psychiatric Registered Nurse in our department will deliver clinical expertise to guarantee that all patients receive exceptional and efficient care.

Key Responsibilities:


- You will enhance the quality of nursing care through process improvement initiatives and collaborative multidisciplinary efforts that yield positive patient care outcomes.

- You will oversee the smooth flow of patients, including screening, exam preparation, providing general nursing care, and coordinating testing and admissions.

- You will educate patients and their families on medication and treatment protocols.
- You will maintain and review patient records, including documenting tests and examination results.
- You will administer medications according to physician directives.
- You will integrate knowledge of patients' age-specific development and cultural diversity into the care plan.

Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training must be completed within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse licensure.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
