Job Summary and Qualifications
The Psychiatric Registered Nurse will deliver clinical expertise to ensure that all patients receive high-quality and efficient care.
We are a supportive team seeking a dedicated individual who shares our commitment to exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance nursing care quality through process improvement and collaborative efforts that yield positive patient outcomes.
- Oversee the patient flow, including screening, exam preparation, and general nursing care.
- Educate patients and families on medication and treatment protocols.
- Maintain and update patient records, including test results.
- Administer medications per physician directives.
- Incorporate knowledge of patient age-specific development and cultural diversity into care plans.
Qualifications:
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training must be obtained within 30 days of employment. A Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree is required.
