Job Title: Registered Nurse - MICU

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) team. As a MICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a MICU RN, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze patient data to inform care decisions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in critical care or medical-surgical nursing
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
