Job Description

The Assistant Director of Student Ministries is a key role at Community of Hope Church, responsible for leading the student ministries team and overseeing the development of youth and families. This position requires a strong Christian leader who can model biblical priorities and core values, and who is passionate about equipping volunteers to lead and serve in student ministries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the student ministries team and oversee the development of youth and families
  • Model biblical priorities and core values, and provide leadership and guidance to volunteers
  • Recruit, train, and equip volunteer teams to lead student ministries
  • Plan and execute student ministries events, including midweek services and summer camps
  • Develop and implement strategies to reach and disciple students, and to equip parents to be the primary disciplers of their children

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in ministry or related field, or at least 3-5 years of experience in vocational student ministry
  • Strong Christian leader with a passion for student ministries and a commitment to modeling biblical priorities and core values
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to recruit, train, and equip volunteer teams
  • Ability to plan and execute events, and to develop and implement strategies to reach and disciple students
