Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Core Group Resources Careers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and implementing process improvements across various operations within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, including inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and quality issues.
  • Process Improvement Initiatives: Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen, with a focus on enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, sales, and customer service, to understand process requirements and drive alignment on improvement initiatives.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct data analysis to quantify the impact of process changes and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success, and prepare and present reports to senior management.
  • Process Documentation and Training: Design and document new processes, including the creation of process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials, and lead and facilitate process improvement workshops and training sessions to educate and engage employees in continuous improvement practices.
  • Technology and Automation: Collaborate with IT and other departments to leverage technology and automation in process improvements, and support the implementation of new technologies, systems, and tools that contribute to process optimization and enhanced operational performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of operations experience, including auditing, operations analysis, and successful implementation of performance enhancement initiatives.
  • Skills: Highly proficient with lean tools such as Standard Work, 5S, Visual Management, Kanban, Material Routes, Level Loading, and Poka-yoke, and solid working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, with experience with SAP, Minitab, Tableau, Denodo, and Simul8 preferred.
