About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Inspection Engineer to join our dynamic Structures Bridge Design/Inspection Group in New England. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical assistance and guidance for inspections, rehabilitation, and load rating of existing bridges, culverts, and structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with research, design, concept development, planning, and construction of load-bearing structures or structural elements.
  • Generate accurate and concise reports and documentation regarding material, installations, and construction specifications.
  • Ensure that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for design, safety, structural soundness, and functionality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in bridge inspection or design or other bridge-related work.
  • Engineer in Training Certification.
  • Actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering or related Undergraduate program, or actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering, or related, Masters or PhD program.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • A member of and/or actively participate in local professional practice organizations.
