Job Title: Bridge Engineer/Inspection Specialist

About the Role:

Dewberry is seeking an experienced Bridge Engineer/Inspection Specialist to join our team in Boston, MA. As a key member of our bridge design and inspection team, you will be responsible for overseeing and participating in the design of simple and complex bridges, as well as performing in-service bridge and tunnel inspections.

Responsibilities:

* Assign tasks to engineers, technicians, or administrative staff
* Plan and coordinate aspects of work, and perform analysis and design
* Prepare scope, budgets, and schedules for assignments
* Assist with proposals to provide professional services

Requirements:

* BS in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of bridge engineering experience
* Professional Engineering license is preferred
* Experience with MassDOT and/or MBTA is preferred
* Ability to use computers, bridge engineering software, and AutoCAD
* Experience with AASHTOWare Bridge Rating software is preferred
