Executive Chef Opportunity in Metairie

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living in Metairie. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team in preparing and serving meals in a timely manner, adhering to established recipes and menus, and maintaining a safe and orderly kitchen.
Responsibilities:- Promote high standards for food taste and quality throughout the organization.
- Lead the culinary team in preparing and serving meals in a timely manner, adhering to established standardized recipes and menus.
- Utilize production sheets to accurately record food production quantities and cooking, holding, and cooling temperatures.
- Prepare required dietary modifications as ordered by residents or guests.
- Use Sunrise systems per guidelines for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee the stocking, rotation, dating, and storage of product according to food safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain clean and organized kitchen, storage, and work areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Minimum one (1) year job-related experience, preferably in food preparation in a restaurant, hotel, or other similar environment.
- High School Diploma/GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts preferred.
- Maintain the following certifications and ongoing training and re-education as required by Sunrise and relevant laws and regulations:
- CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
- ServSafe Manager Certificate.
- Local Health Department Food Handler Card.
