Job Description

Abridge is a pioneering healthcare technology company that is revolutionizing the way medical conversations are recorded and understood. We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead to join our team and play a key role in driving quality assurance efforts across our products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our mobile applications, web, and integrated products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and user experience. This will involve establishing and continuously improving QA processes and best practices, managing a team of QA testers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide input on testability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and integration test automation to ensure product quality
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of QA testers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and design, to understand requirements and provide input on testability
  • Drive the development and maintenance of integration test automation frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and coverage
  • Establish and maintain QA processes, best practices, and quality metrics to measure and report on product quality
  • Identify and prioritize quality issues, working closely with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing QA teams
  • Strong experience with mobile application testing, including both iOS and Android platforms
  • Expertise in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and integration test automation
  • Ability to act with autonomy & self-direction while working well in a team environment
  • Willingness to pitch in wherever needed - as a fast-moving startup we need to do good work, quickly
  • Ability to think strategically and drive quality initiatives across the organization
  • Proficiency in Javascript for test automation
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Appium, Selenium, or Espresso
