At Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals, you will be responsible for caring for some of the most vulnerable patients in the community. We specialize in the treatment of chronically and critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended hospital care. Our organization employs over 50,000 professionals nationwide and provides quality care to approximately 70,000 patients daily across our four divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing patient conditions and recommending suitable treatment plans.
  • Delivering respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
  • Executing the insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
  • Encouraging continuous quality improvement.
  • Educating and counseling patients and their families.
Qualifications

We seek individuals who understand patient needs, ensuring that each patient feels informed, understood, and valued. You should be passionate about providing high-quality care and be an innovative problem solver who thrives in a dynamic setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
  • Current state licensure is mandatory.
  • ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One (1) year of relevant experience is preferred.
