At Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals, you will care for the most vulnerable patients in your community. We provide extended hospital care for chronically and critically ill or post-ICU patients. Our organization employs over 50,000 professionals nationwide, delivering quality care to approximately 70,000 patients daily across our four divisions.
Key ResponsibilitiesAre you passionate about working with medically complex patients? If so, consider this opportunity:
- Assessing patient conditions and recommending suitable treatment plans.
- Delivering respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
- Performing the insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
- Encouraging continuous quality improvement.
- Educating and counseling patients and their families.

Minimum Requirements:
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
- Current state licensure is mandatory.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year of relevant experience is preferred.
