Key Responsibilities:

  • Care for animals, including feeding, cleaning, and providing a safe and healthy environment.
  • Follow established protocols to ensure the health and welfare of animals in care.
  • Maintain accurate records of animal care, including feeding, cleaning, and health checks.
  • Ensure the sanitation and cleanliness of animal buildings, cages, and support areas.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand oral and written instructions in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and work independently when needed.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand/walk on concrete for at least 2 hours at a time.
    • Lift up to 50lbs on occasion.
    • Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, squat, and lift.
    • Manual dexterity to catch and hold animals.
    • Manual dexterity to use a calculator and/or computer keyboard.
