Veterinary Care Professional

At College Way Animal Hospital, we're looking for compassionate and skilled Veterinary Assistants to join our team. As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play a vital role in providing end-to-end care for our patients, from facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests to supporting services like admitting and discharging patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Venipuncture and catheter placement
- Lab sample collection and monitoring hospitalized patients
- Dispensing medications as directed by veterinarians
- Assisting doctors in exam rooms and with surgical procedures
- Client communications and support services
Requirements:
- Washington State Medical Clerk's license or eligibility
- Strong client service skills and animal handling & restraint abilities
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and self-directed work ethic
- Compassion, motivation, and dedication to delivering exceptional patient care
- Strong problem-solving abilities and judgment
