Job Title: Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our team at Elevance Health. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the development and ongoing management of one or more multi-year external client facing programs within a business unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the development, approval, implementation, and compliance of on-going external client facing programs.
  • Ensure program meets its stated objectives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in response to day-to-day external client facing business issues when it comes to Medicaid Research applicable subject matter practices and remain aware of industry trends.
  • Manage external client facing relationships and partners with corporate and regional business areas.
  • Coordinate training related to external client facing program; develop program success measures and perform periodic assessments of program success.
Requirements:
  • Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years external client facing experience in program/project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Experience with Medicaid in Florida preferred.
  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • Project management certification preferred.
  • Prior experience with provider network contracting, provider networks, claims, finance, and operations preferred.

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
