About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Whole Health Institute in suburban Kansas City. The ideal candidate will have certifications, experience, or a strong interest in integrative medicine, functional medicine, lifestyle medicine, or obesity medicine.

About the Whole Health Institute:

The Whole Health Institute is a cash-based, consultative practice that provides high-quality, unrushed, and personalized care for patients' body, mind, and spirit through integrative and holistic medicine.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides advanced clinical consultations and education to patients and healthcare team members from an integrative or functional medicine perspective in an outpatient setting.
  • Provides authentic and creative leadership, serving as a role model.
  • Provides clinical expertise in integrative or functional medicine to enhance programs for identified patient populations.
  • Provides in-depth specialty lab testing and is well-versed on supplements or natural remedies to aid in the healing process of patients.
  • Promotes the Whole Health Institute through various community programs, lectures, webinars, and CME opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Active KS license (or ability to obtain) as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Board Certified in Integrative Medicine, Degree in Naturopathic Medicine, or Certified in Functional Medicine.
  • 5 years of experience in providing Integrative Medicine or Functional Medicine strongly preferred.
