Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Welcoming patients warmly and efficiently.
  • Utilizing our practice management software to create and maintain patient records, including scanning medical documents and verifying insurance information.
  • Ensuring registration forms are complete and gathering necessary physician details.
  • Confirming that patients have current referrals on the day of their appointment and obtaining them when necessary.
  • Checking insurance benefits and eligibility prior to visits and procedures.
  • Collecting applicable co-payments, coinsurance, deductibles, or outstanding balances from patients and accurately posting payments.
  • Balancing and closing the daily time-of-service batch.
  • Assisting patients with inquiries regarding their balances and collecting necessary payments.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized reception area, including stocking business cards.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • College degree or relevant certification is desirable
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a medical office or similar environment
