Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients with respiratory insufficiencies or abnormalities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform therapeutic, diagnostic, and emergency respiratory care procedures
  • Assess, treat, care, and evaluate patients with respiratory conditions
  • Exercise sound judgment and clinical skills to implement patient care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
Requirements
  • Graduate of a two-year respiratory care program accredited by CoARC
  • RCP-Respiratory Care Practitioner certification
  • NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification (if required)
  • RRT-Registered Respiratory Therapist certification within 90 days
  • CRT-Certified Respiratory Therapist certification within 90 days
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience
  • Knowledge of respiratory therapy principles, procedures, and equipment
  • Ability to interpret data and instructions
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
Work Environment

This is a per diem/casual position with varied shifts and a competitive hourly rate of $58.18 to $72.72. Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
