Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests, responding to their questions and concerns, and assisting them with their video gaming needs.
  • Sales and Inventory: Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit goals by maintaining a clean and organized store environment, processing guest purchases and returns accurately, and ensuring that all products are represented and alphabetized on the sales floor.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager, and provide feedback and recognition to team members to ensure they are meeting guest service expectations.
  • Operational Tasks: Perform various operational tasks, including processing shipments, counting and reconciling daily business transaction totals, and maintaining store records and files.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or accredited bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred; at least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
  • Skills: Possess an outgoing and welcoming personality with strong people skills, demonstrate clear verbal and written communication and listening skills, and be able to work independently and within a team to perform all tasks as assigned.
